MIDNIGHT: The Musical brings the magic of Kids Week back to Melbourne

At special Kids Week performances, anyone aged 16 and under can attend MIDNIGHT for free when accompanied by a full-paying adult.

In addition to this, seven lucky kids are selected at each performance to join the cast and crew one hour prior to the show to rehearse a special presentation for the rest of the audience. This opportunity showcases many of the different roles on a theatre production and is designed to take audiences behind the scenes at a major musical. Kids Week will also introduce kids to the many career possibilities that exist within the theatre industry.

MIDNIGHT premieres in June at the Comedy Theatre and tells the real story of Cinderella. It features many of Australia’s favourite musical theatre stars including Lucy Durack (Wicked, Legally Blonde, Shrek), Verity Hunt-Ballard (Mary Poppins, Sweet Charity), Thomas McGuane (Frozen, Jersey Boys), Matt Lee (Mary Poppins, FrozenRaphael Wong (Phantom of the Opera) and Kristie Nguy.

MIDNIGHT: The Musical opens at the Comedy Theatre on Friday June 23. MIDNIGHT Kids Week performances are scheduled from Tuesday July 11 – Thursday July 13.
